As millets caress my hand,
There comes a thrush,
Wafting along the breeze,
Rests keeping it all hush…
She gulps her treasure,
Winking a cute chirp,
I lunged for a mushy trace,
She grazed off with a twerp.
Recently came up with a prompt on something about birds! They feed off of our palms just an inch away,tasting their food.
Fly off in a whisker but leave their imprints for the rest of our lives. They do… believe me😊

Beautiful poem Samyak, thoroughly enjoyed this! Perhaps because I am a bird lover, but I know the feeling of birds sitting on my hand and getting food, it really does something that is hard to explain, but like you said, leaving an imprint and that is so true. Great work Samyak, keep it up!!😃😺🌞
