Scars as constellations

“The illusion of stars on a sequined sky
The freckled moon hides delicate scars”

Windows down, an opal velvet cloud hovers
Tough to banish, I stutter through scars
Like a moon showers sunlight in retrospect
One fine day out of the fourteen, it unveils
A sequined sky or an azure one,
A congregation indeed in a pallete of galaxy
Prayers painted a freckled moon
Indeed those scars so vivid, so delicate
To feign obscurity,
Stars aligned,
A bewitching sight,
Yes an illusion but a lousy wonder.
The moon’s scarred and so are you,
Why not paint stars,
Build a congregation, an infinite mix
Not to feign the oddity.

An effort to sue up your minds with a short poetry…it’s kind of a prompt. The first two lines were given by a friend and I had to make a gibberish of a poetry..so hope you read this out.

Stay safe!

Thank you.
