The seeping bloodstream

Gushing through the nerves

Innocuously elevated..

For there she was..

With a conspicuous mien

Acting all worldly and wise

But all I knew was a jolt

That went right through me

Prudent with a grin

When her elegant visage caught my eyes

A thousand miles away

Still there was a void

That was eluding us

Cluttered notions hurling up

With all the clamour of our past

Simmering with suspicion

Whether the bond blossoms

Or ends up deadlocked

But her venomous smile

Cascading through my veins

Still fills me up with precision..
